If you haven't started filling out the form, why not use the latest version? Its not additional work.

    2010 May N-400 Tracker

FYI... Looks like USCIS has revised the N-400 form. Still the previous version is valid. If you haven't started filling out N-400 and are planning to fill this form soon, it will be better if you use the latest version (Revised 04/05/2010).

    request for evidence

I did my finger print more than a month ago and my online status is still the same as it was before FP date. Next, you might get a YL ...This is an optional letter sent by USCIS to applicants if they need additional document (for e.g arrest/citation related documents etc.). This is mostly done...

Don't you have to send AR-11 and call up USCIS to update your N-400 with new address?

That's true. But not when the applicant lied in N-400 and later USCIS finds out. In this case, if the guy had associated himself with terrorist organization before applying for citizenship and lied in N-400, then his citizenship should be stripped out.

    Less then 90 days!

Which District Office you come under? That matters a lot. Also, if you look at Jan/Feb/March trackers in this forum, you will get a rough idea about how long it takes in your DO....

Can I travel after my interview and before the oath ceremony

You will not surrender your green card at the interview, instead you will have to surrender at the Oath ceremony. Yes, you can travel after the interview and you need to fill in a form with your recent travel dates at the oath. If you don't get same day oath, you can tell IO that you are going...

    what to explain about employment???

I initially thought that you have mentioned it in N-400 (may be an explanation letter with N-400).....That's why I said IO might be curious to find out why you were fired. I brought out the good moral character when the other member (TheRealCanadian) told me ' he wouldn't be curious...'...

    what to explain about employment???

Really? Why do you think? The reason why I said IO would be curious is that to find the applicant's moral character.

Reading 1 line and writing 1 line is comprehension test????? My understanding on comprehension test is that you will be a given a page or two page essay and need to answer few questions related to the essay.

    2010 March N-400 Tracker

Its called Yellow Letter. If USCIS wants more documents from you, they will send this letter before your interview and will ask you to bring additional documents and the original yellow letter when you come for your interview. For e.g., your DL, state issued Id, citation details/court...

Traffic tickets and naturalization (threads merged)

That's ok, I understood. I am afraid they would still have the receipt after 10 years. when I call the customer service rep, I will definitely ask to send me a proof that I have paid the fines.

    what to explain about employment???

As DavidSEA rightly said, IO won't bother why you had so much jobs.... But, I think he might be curious to know why you were fired at your last job. Did you mention you were fired anywhere in N-400?

Traffic tickets and naturalization (threads merged)

Ok thanks. I see your point. I will call them up and ask them to send me a letter saying I have paid all the dues.
