    US citizenship and AR-11.Please reply

Just so you don't get pestered over some "gotcha" technicality, it is best to send in the AR-11 with your latest and current address. I had moved last in 2002 but I didn't send in the AR-11 at that time. I finally sent it a few months ago, just before my N400 ID came up. I don't think it should...

No oath letter, supervisor approval needed

Some of us have been waiting far longer. My ID was Nov 18 and still waiting. I was told it would be 2-3 months to receive the oath letter. In the St Paul DO in MN that is how long it is taking. What is your DO? I know of at least a couple of other people who have been waiting for longer than...

    Minneapolis/St. Paul MN - N-400 Timeline

Oath Dates in St Paul - Mpls Looks like quite a few dates have been scheduled for the oaths in CY '09. Let's keep our hopes up for an early oath. My ID was Nov 18 w/ "recommended for approval" in the letter. AP

    Name

One option would have been to indicate this in the "Other Names Used" space on the N-400 form. If you did not do this at the time of submitting the form you may do this at the interview. I had the same issue - all my paperwork in the USA uses the correct name as A B. My Indian passport...

Traffic ticket (warning) b/w ID and Oath Hi all, I thought I would never run into this but hopefully this ain't a big problem. I'm awaiting my Oath Date (had Interview on 11/18 - about a month ago) so expect the Oath to be in Jan/Feb given the St Paul DO timelines. Yesterday, I was...

    Minneapolis/St. Paul MN - N-400 Timeline

Hi Thunder1, Just curious - did the note at the end of the interview say for you "congrats you have been approved" or something else? I'm just to understand the correlation between the text on that letter the amount of delay between the interview and the oath. It appears some case went back...

NSC / St. Paul ( MN) timeline

Sure will do. I was told by the IO that 2-3 months wait would be standard. It could be sooner, but they couldn't give me a better timeline. AP

    Problem with online status account

Hmmm.. I would think it would be a bigger issue logging in from home since there would be a lot more traffic from the ISP I connect to (through). AP

Passed Interview, no oath letter yet ......

Looks like anyone who got a letter at the end of the interview saying "you will be notified of our decision by mail" was put into a reverification process. It appears St Paul DO is taking 2-3 months to send Oath letters. AP

    Yellow letter prior to interview

During my interview last week I was asked about my Borth Certificate since there was a discrepancy in my name on the BC. What I did in lieu of getting a new birth cert issued from India, was to have my mother and my aunt sign an affidavit in court (signed by a city magistrate) certifying that my...

    Problem with online status account

All, I had my interview done last week (11/18) and today I tried to access my case status online after a gap of over 10 weeks. I got this error message when I tried to login. It was reported to us that your IP address or internet gateway has been locked out for a select period of time...

oath letter and decision can not be made for WASHINGTON DC OFFICE FIELD

At the end of the interview what did you recive from the interviewing IO? Did it say congratulations you have been approved or something else? If it is the latter, it is possible it needs to go through another approval step with a supervisor. AP

    N-400 denied ... need advice???

But then the OP removed his/her name from the registration list only on Oct 16, 2008 which is within the 3 yr period. The statutory period is interpreted with some freedom by the USCIS so can't tell how this plays out. AP

    USCIS updates processing time!!!!

I was preparing myself for a WOM and hired an attorney in August to help with it. I consulted four different attorneys and each of the advised waiting for 18-24 months before filing WOM since that is the time immigration judges in MN tend to be sympathetic to petitioners (any less was deemed too...
