There shouldn't be an issue for GC. However, you will have to go through an interview at USCIS Local Office.

It seems like it is about "opinions". vs. practice vs. regulation. Which one do you need to follow? It is hard to say....
As long as 'six months' from the receipt date of I-485 passed, it should be fine. I would take my lawyer's input if I am to move on. You may want to find your own lawyer if you have any doubts.

"Waiting 'six months' from the receipt date of I-485 is a practice not a regulation, and the actual time you need to remain after the green card is not codified."
When you travel out of US, are you required to submit the I-94 (at the airport) that you got before getting your GC?
When you come back to US, do you need to fill out a new I-94?

I got a new ssn card with the same SSN with "no restriction words" on the card two weeks ago after I got my GC. You need to go your local SSA with GC and your old SSN card. They will mail a new one to you in a week or so. It is a very simple process. :)
Has anyone traveled out of the States with AP? I understand you have to bring your passport and AP (2 copies). Other than those, what should you bring? :confused: Are there any precautions you need to be aware of?
