ok called again and got to another IO who was patient enough and didnt ask me to be patient :) but took my LIN number and then told me that they have 18000 applications that they are processing and they are trying to approve the cases by RD and that they want to see closing as many applications...

I called the same magic sequence 3 times sofar today but all the three times i am told to be patient and keep checking the online status :(

could this be because the local offices have different quota allocated than the service centers? or is it true that other service centers are done with ther quota but since nebraska started late there could be some more lucky ones.

this is really strange ... to day is 17th already but no signs of new visa bulletin

what about the 245(i) ? are these cases only in april or they are through out the year and hence the dates will be in 2001 for 2 more years to go? will the dates ever move out of 2001??
