140 Approved It is a really a big releif now. My 140 got approved today. LUD is on 04/25/2005. This case will give some help on LUD changes. There is no LUD on my 485. Any way I was pulled into the retrogression. I will have to wait for another 6months or more to wait for my turn.

Thanks for your reply. Same day(04/22/05), my EAD renewal got approved. I am thinking that it will be a good sign. I am not sure it is a coincindent. Any body exeperienced like this?

Your employer/attorney can equiry through phone(customer service) about your status check.

Whats your category EB3 or EB2?

Looks like you are the first one experienced like this which doesn't make any sense. What is the exact date you responded to RFE and other LUDs? Any way you are safe that you have 7th year extention. As attorney said you have no retrogression effect, did he discuss this with INS officer...

My 6years were completed on OCT 2004. Can I apply for 7th year H1B extension now to be on status and work?

Thanks for sharing your info. My lawyer responded to RFE and waiting to hear from INS. Check my signature. I also applied for my EAD renewal. I am keeping my fingers crossed. As per your case, my case also gets denied. If 485 denied, I think my EAD also gets cancelled. My 6 years are over...

I don't think "Checks payable to USCIS" is a problem. Do you know what date(before noon or after) lawyer sent the mail(through courier or USPS???) Do you know what date INS got your application? Is your category is EB2 or EB3?

Everybody thought, there is something wrong with the previous update dates. But current updates show that those dates were real :) . Updates are really going crazy. USCIS updated on 03/18/2005 140 EB2 - 3months - 02/12/2005 140 EB3 - 20 days - 12/30/2004 485 - 2months - 03/25/2004...
