EAD Biometrics Appointment
It seems USCIS will schedule the appointment, last year the applicant could have called a number and scheduled the appointment for time and date of his/her liking; I will be out of town for the next three weeks; How long after filing EAD does USCIS normally schedule...
Agree with most things you said.
There are few counter points
USCIS has admitted that annual EAD/AP renwals are their biggest cash cows....
Legal immigrants already pay taxes, so the government is more intersted in legalizing illegals
Seems like we have wait behind some 11 million...
Democrats are the biggest supporters of illegal immigration (for hispanic votes).
Be prepared to wait patiently behind 12 million illegal immigrants seeking amnesty. You can thank lack of lobbying efforts by do nothing naturalized Indians and Chinese citizens for our predicament.
The first anwers says...
"It is not a big deal, since upon travel and reentry a person again may return to H1B status by entering on the H1B approval notice and the H1B visa stamp in the PP. Jul-14-2003."
My concern is if one can re-enter on AP and continue to work for the GC/H1...
Apparently Murthy disagrees:
Question: I"m currently working on H1B full time with a company. If I work part time on EAD for another company, along with my full-time job, will I still lose my H1B visa?
Answer: Working for any employer other than the H1B sponsoring employer means that...
I follow this part, the complication is when EAD is used for part-time work for a second employer; If re-entered on AP while having a valid I-94 of the I-797 (but H1 stamp expired) and continue to work for the H1 sposoring employer - what will be the status?
If someone has valid I-94 on I-797, can he enter on AP (H1 stamp expired) and still have H1 status?
Does anything need to be mentioned at the port of entry about this?
Would there be any problems with spouse getting H-4 stamp without primary having a H1 stamp?
It is important to know that the legal immigrants has been getting a raw deal from goverment who has no qualms against collecting taxes and filing fees, while illegal immigrants are looking for a shortcut to legalization.
Under the proposed Kennedy/McCain law, you are elegible to be a...
I think interim RFE is a means of eleminating AOS cases of people who left US for good or don't qualify for approval for other reasons (no current job etc.)
Seems like contractors at NSC are paid based on the number of RFE they issues. Back in 02 and 03 where VSC were approving cases in a flood,
NSC was delaying approvals based on trivial RFEs.
Attronies who charge per RFE would be dancing with joy.
In AR-11 you put your current home address and your current employers address. Better have the same address on you driver's license as well. You will have to call 1-800 to change the address on your 485 application also.
There is no need to file AC21 yet if you PD is long time from current, but...
There are about 11million illegal immigrants in US. Number of people stuck in retrogoression from India/China/Phi is about 1/1000 of that. Unfortunately the numbers don't add up.
Besides, unlike Mexicans, naturalised Indians have little or no concern for fellow countrymen stuck in immigration...
