Rule is if you travel between NAFTA countries yours' I94 and TN still valid. If you go outside north america when you fly back you will apply NEW TN. I was travelling from UK and immigration told me TN is different he was friendly, gave me new TN based on soft copy on my laptop & latest pay stub.
