I think it was a bit of everything...cheap, buffets, the fact that you were being such an obvious hypocrite. Just overall you came across as a low-life scum (evil or otherwise) who goes around stinking up whatever it touches. In the real world, douchebags like you probably get beaten up every...
I do have a lawyer with whom I've got an appointment next week but I am afraid I already know his answer, being the straight arrow he is. And I don't want to touch my employer's lawyer with a 10-foot pole, lest he informs my HR and gets me terminated.
It's funny how you posted the exact same...
Anyone? I don't have the luxury of 90 days IEAD since I filed late. I have to make a decision soon...if anyone has had a EAD gap, please post your experience or what steps did you take.
Thx
Based on current votes and recent EB3 India movement, my case (Oct 2002) will still take 2-3 years to approve. Only a legislative intervention can bring any hope now.
I would've been more enthusiastic about this bill if USCIS followed FIFO. I am positive that the moment PD becomes current, they will start approving 2007 RD cases and forget us oldies.
Can someone help me with telling which options are legal/possible if my EAD approval doesn't come in time (its a renewal case, not new):
1) I keep getting paid and get a letter that I am on PTO (paid time off).
2) I keep working but not get paid (seriously - the project will suffer a lot if...
Congratulations Akbari! Patience pays but this is ludicrous ... justice delayed is justice denied. Delays like these are unacceptable. No private company would survive for such bad service, without even considering how much they charge!
What about my other quote: I think the correct theory is that you may get a LUD if your PD is <=Dec 2002 or if its >= Jan 2003.
BTW, are you in the computer/analytic profession by any chance?
After much thinking and analysis based on postings here and in other immigration forums, I think the correct theory is that you may get a LUD if your PD is <=Dec 2002 or if its >= Jan 2003. Also, you may not get a LUD if your PD is <=Nov 2003 or if its >= Dec 2003.
Just saw a 01/10/08 LUD on both my 485 applications (primary and dependent). I am no where close to being considered for approval considering my PD (Oct 2002, EB3, India) but I guess someone at USCIS is really bored :) Or maybe its my time to say "Hello, RFE!".
I also had previous 140/131...
Found the APs in my mail this past Friday. On another happy note, the EAD I applied just got approved this morning (within 30 days). Now I hope it gets mailed out without any drama.
Can someone who is no longer on H1 status do that too? I always qualified for EB2 but had the opportunity to use a pre-approved EB3 labor and went for it.
