It was either a Thursday or Friday. The problem we had with it was that they didn't have anything up on a website or over the phone, we had to travel there and it was closed for no apparent reason. We tried to get in by showing his EAD receipt letter and saying we needed to get it since it had...
It is worth a shot talking to your lawyer again and mentioning the "Bill Yates memorandum " to see if you can somehow bring that up and skip the exams.
If not, I rememerbed hearing the medicals were only good for a year. Is that right?
My husband didn't get his EAD until 1 1/2 weeks after our interview.
Even though 6 weeks is an incredibly long time, ours was fast also in my opinion. We applied in November and interviewed April.
Just be sure to bring all of your paperwork for everything. Also, you can try calling their...
1. Your wife would only be part of his household if he can claim her on his taxes. If you and your wife and paying taxes together for yourselves, then no.
2. If he has been stable for some years, like 3 years, then it should be ok. The forms might want copies of his last 3 years tax...
Init_5,
How did you contact your congressman/woman? Did you walk into their office? Send in a mailed package? Fax? Online form?
I might have to do this soon,
Tell me about it, *sigh* :(
AlexK,
Yes that is very similar to us. We had to go get the medical exam done and turn it in. We mailed it in but also, we didn't get an I-72 form to turn in. I've read that the I-72 is a form yhou can mail in with your missing papers.
But we got a receipt for the I-72. Regardless, We...
These were some questions asked of us on these boards, it might help out others??
what was the reason for your file transfer and Interview to Baltimore?
We live in Maryland so we applied through Vermont and our papers automatically transferred to Baltimore after just a few months.
We...

Yep it sounds weird to me that's why I'm wondering if it's normal
When we went in April my husband didn't have his medical done at all. He's been living in the US since about 15 years ago and all of the paperwork we read didn't say he needed it.
WHen we got there it was the...
Hi,
We had our 485 interview in Baltimore but we didn't have the mdeical paperwork. We mailed that in and got a new deadline of late September.
Anyone else have to go through this? Does it really take that long? My husband is paranoid since we
re planning amove in August and all our...
Yes that does sound rotten. There are severla things that you could jump to conclusions about.
Ask your doctor if he/she was handed a letter signed by "you" allowing this letter from the doctor to be written. Maybe a letter was forged.
It sounds like your wife may be filing for a waiver...
We went for our 485 interview at Baltimore on April 15 thisyear. WE didn't have the medical exam so we had to finish the interview and go take care of that.
We mailed the results in and got a response that Baltimore received it, but it would take until possibly September to process.
Anyone...
We went to the Baltimore office adn there were many many kids in the witing area. I would suggest to bring a trusting friend to watch the baby for those few minutes. reason is, they might ask your wife a question she might misunderstand, or you might get asked a simple question that your wife...
Do you have your Social SSN? Have you tried with that? If they deny you at the DMV, go to another location and try there.
My husband had trouble getting his SSN because the  clerk at the SSN office had a problem with his 2 last names not being on his EAD (Spanish countries with the...
My husband was 21 at the time of his medical exam. He received a "supplement form to i-693" separately from the i-693 form, it's a 1 page piece of paper with boxes for your immunizations and the necessary shots are checked off.
His Hep B row isn't checked off, it says he is "not appropriate...
My husband did his fingerprints some months just before our interview (less than 5 months for sure). I think that was for his EAD which we filed for at the same time as 130 and 485.
When we had our 485 interview, he had to give them another ifngerprint right there as we were ending our...
