Yoni: there is no way to check name check status, the only way is to go to INFOPASS, you got a rude IO last time, try again, see if you can get a nice one that will give you more detail.

Some information i found about Extended review, and it sounds scary. Especially that we DV cases have a deadline. What is an "Extended Review?" When people call service centers directly (see how here), they are sometimes told that their cases are under "extended review" or "additional review."...
