yes we can remove it Yes we did that - both myself and wife after our 485 approval by visiting the local SSA office in Person. It is just few minutes job and u will get the new card in USPS Mail.

Anybody inquiry about plastic card Did anyone sent plastic card inquiry.. its been more than 6 months still I haven't received the card. Sent the I-551 inquiry today (G731N).. I have to wait and watch for their response.
