Gebre,
we might be called in for new fingerprints as by this time our prints expired. They mentioned it right there on my RFE: Your prints have expired on September 23, 2005 and you'll be notified bla bla bla....
An officer at the POE HAS TO LET YOU IN, HE IS NOT AUTHORIZED NOT TO LET YOU IN!!! The only thing a POE IO can do is to make a note in your file, that's it, so you might answer some questions later during you citizenship interview (supposedly, not a fact).
That is correct. Code 1 is all 10 fingerprints only - no BIO. It is being sent out every 15 months. His/her fingerprints were last taken in July 2004, thus they have expired. The other question is, why do they still make us go and do the FP again instead of just resubmitting the ones that were...
They hardly mentioned asylees delays here because the article is about EB3 retrogression, it is not about us.
I believe that Mr. Tamimi's wife could have sought residency or a research position at a hospital in the US that would sponsor her for an H1B visa instead of complaining that she can...
WOW, how did he manage to "sneak in" to the warehouse? Do they now offer tours for a fee? :) This got me concerned, though, as I just mailed them my original passport. What if they loose it? All I have left are the copies and return receipt from the post office!!!!! I have sent my RFE to...
The fact that CRIS is in the link does not mean it is the database, but merely an application context on their web server (in other words, a folder where all of their web files are stored).
My spouse did not file an I-730, I was added to the case when he had an interview for asylum and then we had to go through the immigration judge to get the asylum status.
But I'm a derivative asylee, why would they be so concerned about me travelling to my home country? They probably need my original passport to try and determine if I had a genuine visa to enter the US...Hell knows...Anybody else on the forum had a similar RFE?
I haven't gotten the letter yet - my lawyer did, so i do not know where it came from. As for the foreigh travel - I went to Hungary once for a week, that was it. Hungary is not my home counntry. I used RTD to travel.
My lawyer received the RFE in the mail - I did not receive it yet for some reason.
They want me to send them the original passport and a clear copy of the government issued ID + they are mentioning that my last year's fingerprints have expired and I will be notified of an appointment to go...
Oh, god! Biometrics is clearly not enough for them. At this point, if they'd asked me for the photos, I'd send them the photo of my behind... Bastards.
In my case, bio and RFI came together. Do not worry, your wife will get an RFI as well. Just do what they are asking and you'll be fine. BIO and RFI are two unconnected things.
want,
any changes on your case? In my case the primary applicant's LUD also changed without the message change and nothing yet so far. (his RFI receipt was logged by CIS on Sept 9, then, like in your case, LUD changed on the 13th, just like yours).
But what if you are a derivative asylee and the principal was granted asylum based on the fact that he/she is of the nationality that was persecuted in your country and you are of a different nationality and were not persecuted, but received the asylum status based on your marriage to a...
