previous data is misleading The waiting period is only going to get worse because the adjudication-ready queue size is getting longer. Try to get a better feel for it based on RD. I guess that the earliest July RD approval is couple of months away.

One of my friends just received FP notice (another ray of hope) I don\'t know his RD/ND, but his receipt # is WAC-01-264-*** Location: Oakland Scheduled date: 12/18.

I-485 "Ready to Adjudicate" 01/01/00 does it mean that the oldest 485 application on anyone\'s table is with RD of 01/01/00? If so, it\'s not all that useful as it may take long time for it to change if one case gets stuck. The puzzling point seems to be the order they process after FP is...

What happens when one gets fired? Let\'s say that someone gets fired after getting GC approval. Can he/she get into trouble down the road? What happens to intent/good faith from both parties? Who\'s to blame for the breakoff?

possible I got RFE on my H1-B extension couple of months back and was issued RFE on I-485 last week. I was hoping that someone would realize that my H-1 was issued only two months back, but I guess that one shouldn\'t expect INS too sensible :-)

Does RFE imply security checks have been completed? ...and once they get the requetsed info., it\'s simply a matter of an officer approving? Don\'t the RFE-responses-received files go to the top of the ready-to-be-assigned heaps?

something happend finally! According to AVM, RFE issued on 5/17, don\'t know yet what it\'s about, will post the details. I assume that the very fact that RFE is issued means that all the security checks (including the new IBIS) have been completed already, am I right?

I\'m happy that 6 months have just passed since RD as my employer can\'t screw up my trip, I\'ll take pleasure in that milestone for now! As there are few folks still waiting from Apr., I\'ll be happy if I get mine approved by Jun.
