Concurrent Filing - Using Cross Chargeability

Hi MMU, I saw that too .... at least the primary applicant in that case had some soft LUDs before getting the case approved. In my case, the LUD has been 3/28/2007 and nothing since then. The 3/28/2007 LUD was corresponding to our 3/27/2007 fingerprints I believe. I always thought that as long...

Concurrent Filing - Using Cross Chargeability

So I called up NSC once again using POJ, to check if my case was at least assigned to an officer by now. I was told by the lady "Sir, this is not the number to check the status of your case. Please use our website for that information. Call us back only if you do not see any update to your...

Hi VSaxena: That is awesome, especially since you were worried about the long delay since you replied to your RFE. Congratulations and enjoy the freedom !!!

Concurrent Filing - Using Cross Chargeability

Yeah, and by the time all those cases get approved and its time for our cases, the visa numbers will no longer be available. So we'll be left with no option but to wait till October .... and I'm hearing rumors that EB2 ROW category might also start retrogressing now .... sweet mercy ! I mean...

Concurrent Filing - Using Cross Chargeability

Hi MMUBEEN: I agree. If you notice, my RD is about a month before yours, though your PD is about 3.5 years ahead of mine. Your RFE on 11/7/07 indicates that your case was at least looked at once. In my case, the RD is 2/8/07 and the LUD is 3/28/07 when I had my fingerprinting done. Nothing...

Concurrent Filing - Using Cross Chargeability

Hi Yabadaba: I'm not sure if its CBP at the airports checking people's passports, visas and/or other documents. I agree that CIS and CBP are two different entities, but I think they serve two different purposes as well. I don't think security people have anything to do with what type of...

Concurrent Filing - Using Cross Chargeability

Hi Doji: Thanks for your response. Last time when we both entered the country (around July/august last year) on AP, it was a breeze. They did not make any issues out of it at all and we walked through just like we were permanent residents, except that we had to go in a separate line in...

Concurrent Filing - Using Cross Chargeability

Does anyone know if the IOs at Ports of Entry (airports) have an access to our pending I-485 records? My wife is currently out of country, and returning in the next few days on Advance Parole. As such, I was wondering if I could request her to bug the IO a little bit to find out what's going on...

I noticed that too about the PD and the I-485 RD ..... everyone with I-485 RD around our time have their PD around 2004 time frame .... by the way, what was that link that you posted in your previous message? I'm sorry but it's not working.

Concurrent Filing - Using Cross Chargeability

Hi MMUBEAN, Even though our cases are pending at different service centers, our I-485 ND, RD and FP dates are pretty close. Were you able to get any better info from the IOs in terms of tentatively when they expect your case to be reviewed? .... or did they mention any specific deadline set by...

Concurrent Filing - Using Cross Chargeability

Hi MMUBEAN, Unfortunately, I've not been approved yet. There has been no activity on my application at all -- LUD is still 3/28/2007. Everything in my signature below is correct, and up to date. I will definitely let the group know if I see any changes. I've tried calling NSC several times...

Concurrent Filing - Using Cross Chargeability

So, I called NSC to check on the status of my case again .... I wanted to know whether my case has been assigned to an officer ... and I was told to wait till Mid-May and then call back, if I don't hear anything from NSC till then .... I was asked when I filed my I-485 and when I said Feb '07 I...

Concurrent Filing - Using Cross Chargeability

If the Immigration Watch website (www.immigrationwatch.com) is to be believed, it appears that USCIS is working even on weekends to process all applications. I've seen people mentioning on trackitt that they've received LUDs on weekends, but for some reason, I really find this hard to believe.

Hi MMU: My application is at NSC. By the way, a very interesting link that you've posted here ... even I wonder how accurate it is.

Hi MMU, Looks like our I-485 cases are close together in terms of filing dates and FP dates as well. See my signature below. Let's hope for some good news soon.

Concurrent Filing - Using Cross Chargeability

Dear VSaxena: I would not worry about your TB test too much, as long you've cleared the X-Ray test, because the X-Ray is a lot more reliable than the skin test. They don't give BCG shots here in America, but for a lot of us who are born outside the United States, we're given BCG shots when we...

Concurrent Filing - Using Cross Chargeability

Hi Huizet: I believe NSC is severely backlogged on responding to the SRs as well. As I said, I opened a SR in the first week of Nov'07 and I was told that I should hear back within 60 days, but only heard back last week. So, since you opened your original SR in Dec'07, maybe you will hear back...

Concurrent Filing - Using Cross Chargeability

Hi Dedo: My wife got the same response that you did. We had both initiated SR one the same day in November last year, but she got her an e-mail from CIS in the last week of January, just days before the 2/4/08 memo was released. Whereas in my case, I got this e-mail just last week. So, maybe...
