SFMARS and Other Experts,
Yesterday my attorney has posted my case update to my employer, in which she has sent Form ETA 750 Part A once again to be signed by my employer and sent back to her.
Does this mean that the DBEC has requested my attorney to resend Form ETA 750 Part A to them? Why...
Hi MJEE,
I found my case in the PERM Database and it says that the case was received in the Regional Office on 08/26/2004. Whereas the screenshot last obtained in October 2005 said that the case source is "State".
MJEE, SFMARS, other experts, can you please tell me if there's anything my...
Mr.devar,
You are entitled to your opinion backed by whatever info you have and so is sfmars. We can have healthy discussions here in this forum and in the process educate ourselves and others.
Your earlier post addressing sfmars was condescending in nature and came from out of thin air...
Congratulations! Looks like SWA Cases are being approved now based on the date 45 day letter was received and responded.
I hope to receive my approval within a month now hopefully!
Am I being too optimistic?
Hi Tushar,
Congratulations! So the total fees you paid as follows:
1. Soctia Bank Receipt for $100
2. Reciprocity fees for $50
Thats all is the total fees or is there a separate $50 fee for visa issuance? Appreciate your clarification. Thanks!
Same situation as you
I am in the same situation as you, except that my first stamping was done at Chennai and the 2nd at Toronto. I am planning to have my 8th year extension stamping done at Toronto as well, and was curious to know if it really does help to appear at the same consulate again...
H1B - 8th year Extension approved
Hi there guys!
Just to let you know that my I129 petition for 8th year extension with a receipt date of Oct 24, 2005 has been approved, with a approval date of Jan 12, 2006. This was a regular processing case.
Good luck and Godspeed to all who are waiting for...
no need
Unless you are traveling outside of USA you won't need a visa. Also, you won't need to have a visa for re-entry from Canada either, unless you stay in Canada for more than 30 days.
NOT A LEGAL ADVISE!
Looks Risky
Your travel to India looks risky based on the details you have provided below. In order to have no issues at a US Consulate in India, you need to carry all your prior approvals in case they ask. They may ask or may not ask, but you need to carry all your prior H1 approvals alongwith...

Although, this post is irrelavant to this thread, I am posting it here, since majority of the people who read this thread are on H1 and might be attending visa interview at Chennai Consulate in Dec 2005 to Jan 2006. Read below...

No, the revalidation within US by DOS is still not active. The article is about visa revalidation at overseas consulates and what security measures and checks applicants applying for US non-immigrant visa at different consulates overseas face.
Jan 05, 2004 was a Monday. You probably read the date in dd/mm/yyyy format in which case, it's May 01, 2004 which was a Saturday.
I don't think anybody can have a priority date of either Saturday or Sunday or any govt holiday.
same situation as me
It appears you are in a similar situation as I am and I am still in a dilemma if I should go ahead and travel outside of USA. I am in my 7th year H1 and appearing for interview at New Delhi on Jan 03 for my H1 visa revalidation (although I belong to Chennai region). My GC...
I checked with my lawyer on this and she says, there's nothing they can do to expedite or help with a case that goes for security clearance to the state dept. from a consulate abroad. So, if at all it goes for security check, there's no other option but to wait for the due process to complete.
