the problem is not that it is the fact that they are touching/working on Mar 02 cases and a lot of oct-nov cases are not even assigned to officers. If these cases are ready to be assigned then officers should pick these up instead of picking new cases. I guess they just don't want to hand over...

It shouldn't be problem for you since H1-B can be maintained along with AOS pending status. As for your wife I don't understand why she wants to travel with you and file 485 all over again?? And is she plannig to enter on H-4?? I heard now a days it may take a while before an H-4 is issued.

user7 any obvious reason why your case was transferred? My case is pending since long (oct 2001) and wondering if INS is transferring cases randomly or with some good reason.

No use JIT is already passed my ND (11/09) but no way to get through the INS phone line. I am tired of redialing.
