Thanks for response I was in India when i got RFE. I think RFE is dt\'d around Nov 20 and i got the news from lawyer on November 28.

My RFE was replied on Jan 10 and AVM updated on 01/17/2002. I have not yet got approval. I see some lucky folks in this website who have been approved with similar dates. Is it time to be concerned or give it few more days. How does it operate after RFE is replied ... how long does it take !

Agree but ... Joef, Agree to what u are saying... The situation is particularly worth examining for consultancy jobs. U know that consultancy jobs provide very high level of uncertainity and is it not normal for a person to have change of heart after getting the greencard to seek permanent...

Travel industry The travel industry seems to be lobbying against it. In this economy , i doubt they would do it. It would be unattractive for most people to come to US if 30 day deadline is given especially retired members of other countries trying to visit US.
