I am in the same case and when my lawyer concurrently filed my I-140 & I-485, he added a copy of a previously approved old I-140 because he said that the permanent resident application was actually determined by that filing

TSC processing dates From last month to this month, the TSC processing dates for I-485 (employment based) only progressed a couple of weeks... Definitly a slowdown (I have in mind that last month, the date was May 27th. Does that sound right?)...

I would think that they check what is somewhat publicly available in many countries such as police record and military service record. I would like to hope that most countries won't disclosed 'non-public' information (e.g., tax record - not public record in many countries) just becasue...

Did you notice the new Translators classification (Iraqi and Afghani)? They appear to be given priority (for obvious reasons). I would speculate that this plus the I-140 premium processing now slow everything else down. My 2 cents...

I-485 RFE Cancelled !? Friday 10/27/06 was 30 days past receiving an email that USCIS had issues an RFE for my I-484 my attorney had not received the notice. He called and was told that the RFE had been cancelled (this happened prior to his call and the two events were not connected) and...

A month seems long.I don't think you can get the number without the receipt but I could be wrong. Can you try to call the service center without a #?

USCIS actually sent the RFE on 9/26 and I have not received it yet.

I filed jointly at the beginning of August (ended up in TSC as well) and had my FP on 8/23. No LUD since... I wonder how fast they churn these I-485...

I got my first LUD on my I-140 (post submission) today morning and it was approved yesterday. It took 6 weeks.

In my case, they gave me an address to go to. I think it's standard practice.
