I second ganti\'s point. From the recent approvals that we\'ve seen on this board, it seems EB1 or EB2 is being processed faster than EB3. However, many approvals also proved that TSC process cases in random pattern. It all depends on your luck. To me, the processing time is...

The IIO who I talked to last week (1/8/02) said my FP was good and my case should be assigned soon. I really think the IIO I spoke with on 12/31 and today, which probably was the same one you spoke with on 12/31, doesn\'t know the procedure very well. rajramani1234, I also wish your...

The lady I spoke with today was the same rude lady 2 weeks ago. Here is the conversation that I had with her:
Me: "My case number is SRC-00-039XXXXX, I\'d like to know if my case has been assigned to an officer yet?"
IIO: "Oh, did I speak with you on the 31 of last...

On 12/31/01, the IIO that I spoke with said she would put in a request to her supervisor. On 1/8/02, the IIO said my case has not been assigned to an officer but should be assigned soon. Then I asked how much longer, and she said she was not sure. But her attitude was pretty nice...

Calling the TSC is a big challenge of your patience. I think the success rate of getting thru is about 2%. You just have to keep trying using your redial function. My phone at work doesn\'t have the redial function, so I usually keep dialing the number for around 30 minutes. Then...

Congratulations! Thanks for sharing your experience. My ND is 11/24/99, 2nd FP was done on 12/5/01.
I just contacted both my senator and congressman last week and waiting for their responses. Hope to hear more 1999 waiters get their approvals! Enjoy your freedom, God bless everyone!

I had the same problem when I went to my country last month. Just make sure to bring an INS issued ID such as EAD that shows the correct spelling of your wife\'s name. Also, be at the airport earlier on the day of departure. The lady from my airlines had to call US consulate to...

Yes I have heard of this once before. I also have experienced their system was down twice. It\'s very frustrating to hear this kind of message after few hours of waiting.

I got thru the phone and it was the same lady. At first she said my husband called already and told me not to waste the time of the people who were on the phone lines. Then I said the reason I called because our cases haven\'t been assigned to an officer and asked her to put a...
Our details:

My husband talked to an IIO this morning (after hour of trying and 2 hours of holding). The lady was very rude. He asked if our cases were assigned to an officer and she said there are thousands of cases waiting the same as us. Then my...

As far as I know, you must have a valid fingerprint done to get the approval. When the processing turned 01/00 and my husband called the INS to see our status. (it was before our 2nd FP) And the officer said the only thing missing was the 2nd FP.
