My case, dates on paper notice is 8/7/00 and 8/28/00, but the AVM says 8/26. lin is 00-245
As dates getting closer to approval, I took a look at my 485 receipt notices for myself and wife. To my suprise, I found my 485 RD as July 8 2000 and ND Aug 28 2000. My wifes 485 RD is Aug 7 and ND Aug 28. All cases have LIN-00-245-xxxxxxx.
But the automated mesg. says ...recieved on Aug 26...

I think it is mostly to verify some doubts that the IIO may have like proof of marriage, employment, etc. Dont worry, talk to you attorney and go prepared.

I am also coming to end of 6 yr limit in Oct 01. I do have the EAD and applied for extension.
However, if I am right, you dont loose your H1 status unless u file a W-9 (or something) for EAD to take effect. If this is correct, I am still on H1 status.
