    Early FP should not matter Two of my friends did their FP 1 month before scheduled date and they both got approvals. So I guess it should not matter.

    Talked to IIO today Not very helpful. IIO told that they are currently processing April applications (standard message). It could take 5-6 months for processing. My case is not assigned to an officer yet. FYI.

    Does this mean that the AVMs change when case is assigned to an officer ... and the assigned officer or his/her assistants update the message.

    AVM says 975 - 999 days I received my FP notice Feb 1st week. Did my FP on 2/13. INS Recd. the same from FBI on 2/20. No change in my AVM at all. It still says "We mailed you a receipt .... It is taking 975 - 999 days to process this type of application ..." Just waiting.

    In fact For some of my colleagues INS collected the Original 485 when they went for stamping.
