Hi All!
RD: 07/19/01
ND: 08/24/01
RFE: 09/17/02 (Employment letter: RFE replied on 09/25/02; received by INS on 09/29/02)
AD: 10/31/02
Updated Rupnet.
Thanks to Greaty-k and Rajiv Khanna for maintaining great websites that help us get throught this arduous process.
Fortunately I...
Lets take the issue to the news channels ...
I think it takes very less time for INS to adjudicate a Family based I-485 after finger printing. So, why should the Employment based take so much time? If the I-140 has been approved and the Priority Date is current why does it take so long for...
How long are the finger prints valid?
I thought the finger prints are valid for 1 1/2 years i.e. a year and a half. Can any body shed a light on this?
Thanks,
milehigh1
Not happy with NSC
My RFE response was recvd by NSC on Sept. 28th (RD-07/2001) and tomorrow was supposed to be the 420th day from my ND(08/2001). And now NSC comes back and tells me to wait for 30 more days because now it is taking them 420-450 days?!?!?!?!?! What the hell is wrong with NSC...
Documents to take ...
Hi x-man!
What documents did you take for passport stamping?
Do you need to take photographs?
I hope my approval comes soon,

RFE approvals ...
I just checked Rupnet and finally the No. of RFE's approved count moved from 29 to 30.
It seems NSC approved a RFE on October 7th. I am hoping this is a good sign.
Lets wait and see.

Does any one know when is the end date for NSC Audit?
Apparently, they have not approved a single RFE (I believe since the audit began) in last several days.
Thanks,
milehigh1
Beats me dude ...
I have no idea how to interpret it :).
I guess thats how INS works. 437 days (working + non-working) have already passed since my RD (07/19/2001) and 402 days (working + non-working) have been passed since my ND (08/24/2001). I will wait for 18 more days to pass and then...
For RFE response received by INS
I just checked the On-line status today, INS has received my RFE response and it says:
"On September 28, 2002, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 390 and 420 days for us to process this kind of case...
Yes the AVM gets updated
The AVM is updated once the INS receives your RFE response and enters into their computers. It can take any where from 2 weeks to 4 months for your approval after INS receives your response.
Hope this helps,
milehigh1
Information not accurate though
I got a RFE recently but the web page still shows the old message "Received the results of FP ..."
I hope INS can sync up correctly and provide accurate information. This should be invaluable!!! I think the telephone companies will not like this :)

Hearty Congratulations ...
Thanks for all the good work that you have put in Rupnet. It is very nice of you. Enjoy your freedom, take a vacation, have fun ...
Congratulations once again,

Re: Thank you
I called INS-NSC couple of times and got differing responses from them. There is absolutely no use of calling NSC - IIOs. My RD is July 19th 2001 and ND is August 24th 2001. A lot of people are approved in the vicinity of my RD/ND and some even after my RD/ND. I am so...
INS Nebraska...
I called INS Neb. yesterday regarding my I-485 Application (RD-07/19/01) and the lady said they were working on May 2001 cases, Go Figure ...
I wish I was working for a company in the east coast or the west coast. INS Nebraska is upredictable and very slow ...

EB2 is the current trend ...
I have seen very few EB3 approvals this month on immitracker and this
site. Apparently, NSC has approved a lot of EB2s this month.
INS has stopped issuing the Yellow Form ...
I believe INS no longer requires the Yellow Form with FP notices.
I am not sure about the exact date when INS stopped issuing this form.
Don\'t worry about it.
