i got renewal notice via email few months back and I just paid the fee. they sent me the new license valid until 2007. my prev lic did was not temporary. of course, the new lic is now without a photo id.

u sure abt the date Are you sure about the date your friends was filed. i.e. was it really filed on 4/02 (and not 01) and that he has received his labor. I always keep checking and you are right, per DOL, they are processing September 01. btw, One of my friend has filed on May 02, so if...
