most people post when
they get FP (most common ?)or
approvals (next most common) or
need some info.
Apr 2000 and later FP is already done - so the numbers will not
balloon upwards like oct 99 cases did - as people got FP who
had ND oct 99 they started posting and the number...
When Apr30 is over INS will have a lot of 245i petitions.
How will it affect INS processing in general ?
here are my comments:
INS will start issuing fewer RFEs - e.g. some people get RFEs for paystubs ! 485 approvals should come thru faster once they are under
"processing" (i.e...

overloaded applications:
99 ND aug sep EB2 are done oct 99 is going on at a fast pace.
99 ND aug EB3 is done sep oct are going on at a fast pace.
once EB3 PD reaches late 98/early 99 most of these will also have been covered ! And we\'ll be past the overloaded months. This should...

tinkari - this is what will happen. why ? read on ..
Aug Sep Oct 99 had a lot of applications.
As PD moves forward VSC will go back and look at those cases from
ND AUG 99 to MAR 00 which have become current.
EB2 PD moved rapidly past AUG 99 a while back.
By now most ND AUG...

CNEBVSC1 - if only 90% of the posters put their approval then
the time you calculate will reduce by two months.
Next - the months after april the k factor has to be adjusted lower - because they will have a higher rate of posting - due to FP being done already. The stages for...

CNEB1VSC - the immitracker data is skewed in more than one way:
people dont post till they hear from VSC about something:
FP, RFE or Approval/Intent to Deny
people dont post AFTER they are approved:
So the case remains in FP/RFE stage for example.
So I believe that most AUG...

CNEBVSC1 - you are being too pessimistic:
1999 AUG - SEP - OCT cases for EB2 have been current for a long time
AUG cases of EB3 would most likely have been current (mainly people
who were waiting for years filed 485 in Aug 99).
By end of next month most EB3 cases would be covered...

Most people after April 2000 have had their FPs done.
For deciding which case to approve, VSC ignores PD once they have "accepted" the 485. They go by ND only. So for your 10/2000 485,
you\'ll probably get FP some time later this year and then approval early next year as...
Looks like EB2 will become current soon.
Its already at PD 11/2000 for India and 9/2000 for China
So the Aug - Sep - Oct peak cannot be India cases for EB2
Most of them should be done by now (the unapproved cases in myladoors chart
are probably mostly folks who didn\'t update their info -...

If you are laid off you are fine and can get a new employer to
support your 485 - this is my opinion.
You can also check with an attorney of your own choice.

aGCSeeker - Good Analysis at that link.
I have also posted my own analysis. My 485 ND is 6/00 FP done
and approved by INS.
I expect approval sometime in Jul - Sep range, earlier if the PDs
dont move forward too fast.
Best Wishes - hope we become "GCGetters" from...

How can you have 500K EBx 485 applications ?
You can have only about 140000 per year totally,
even if you count dependents separately
Most of the 485s are family based in my opinion.
(They take 3 to 12 years to process them based on category
so the EB cases look like lightning...

If VSC has done ALL processing for non-current cases, all they
have to do is say "approved" when they get current and send out the notice. Which wont take up too much of their time.
