Just to keep the thread going. No updates (LUD's) on my I-485 since the last LUD on 2/15/07. Case status is still pending. The IO said that I need to wait until my name check clears. I'm still waiting. It's five months now. :(

This should not be a problem, My wife has a different last name too. During the interview, our IO did not even ask why. It was not an issue... Good luck..

Still pending name check Bellow is my time line, during the interview, the interviewing officer said that everything is good. The only thing they're waiting for is the name check. It seems that so far, all the late December 06 fillings have not received the GC yet.

You need to sue ASAP. This is very bad. You should find information on how to file this lawsuit in this thread. Good Luck
