After I get my passport stamped will I need the following--
1. Advance Parole for travel
2. Visas for Mexico, Canada and Europe
PS: 485 approved last week, Indian citizen.

I filed I-140 in Aug 2000; was approved in Nov 2000; it is under EB2 NIW category. Hope this helps.
BTW I don\'t have wife and children to go on a cruise.

It\'s hard but not impossible..
You will have to convince the INS that YOUR WORK and not YOUR FIELD of work is important and merits a NIW.
Strong letters of recommendations from scholars in the US help a lot. Avoid generic versions.
