When I last asked the IIO if I need to extend my EAD, she asked me when it was due for renewal. When I told her it is October 23 she said I could wait. I forgot toask her how long.

Cogratulations! GC-ez. Greenpatta in our case CP was give to us without are asking. We had always wanted to go for AOS. But with hind sight CP would have been faster.
Mine is a Cp approved I-140 case too. According to the IIO this is not a cause for delay. She said the papers are called from the consulate once the case goes into the system. I hope this is right.

I wonder what is the difference between staging and processing area. Is staging closer to approval. It would be useful to understand the steps and their jargon. It leaves us so confused.
