Nope I didn't take infopass appt but i did call the customer service to initiate a service request on June 4th. The agent told me that my case is complete in every sense and sitting in an area to be picked up by adjudicating offier. She did not create a service request. After waiting 13 days...
When i said fast it was just for getting the actual card, the whole process took little over 5 years. In any case you have to get used my teeth :D now.

Our cases were approved on 6/19 and we received our green cards today. This is fast by any standards of USCIS :D (Its my time to show my teeth). I hope all the best for those waiting for their approval, I hope they approve all of you guys.
Got approval email for both me and wife just now. The excruciating wait of over 6 year is finally over. My feeling is that NSC will approve a lot of cases today and in coming days coz I am not lucky at all. Here is my detail:

Whoever says that they are approving by RD is talking bull shit. My RD is 05/03 and all I hv seen is approvals from 2004. When you call them they say "your case is sitting in an area (area 51 i guess) WAITING to be picked up an officer. Stupid USCIS is going to mess up big time again where they...
you should remove your lawyer from the records with USCIS otherwise the RFE would go only to the lawyer on record. You can write a simple letter USCIS asking that.
BTW you can contact the lawyer and ask if he has recd it, I guess he won't mind forwarding it to you.

Thats why he has not included EB-3 which doesn't follow any known statistical pattern of this world. We might have more luck (and money) predicting stock market than PD movement.
This Bill looks like it will see the light of day pretty soon as it talks more about competitiveness of america than increasing immigration, though it would be great if the provision of increasing EB visas can be added to this. My guess is that this bill will sail thru both senate and house...
