    EB1b I140 PP more than 15 days

Think this through I am not sure that you are strategizing correctly. You intend to change jobs within two months, but want to use a category that REQUIRES said employer (EB1B). You'll be in trouble, even if you get an EB1B approval. You will not have filed a 485 and had it pending for 180...

    EB1 140 approval revoked!

i.e. rebuild the case; now, if you really want more specific advice, you are going to have to spill the beans.

    Medical Fellowship and EAD

Usually, yes. You can also apply to study and practise as a plumber :) Don't think anyone asks for your EAD until you've applied for it, gotten it, accepted it, and are ready to pay taxes for it. :)

    EB1 140 approval revoked!

See my earlier post, for what needs to be known before hazarding a guess- the evidence you presented, some idea of the docs you filed etc. Most likely scenario: the initial evaluator just skimmed through your file. Then, the second one crosschecking it, got tough. Now you will need to pad up...

    EB1b I140 PP more than 15 days

Priority processing is allowed only when you have a single outstanding petition. USCIS will eventually return the money. Or you can withdraw the NIW and write to USCIS again. With service center switches and the outstanding NIW, CRIS is bound to mix things up, and it has such a record for these...

EA versus OR versus everyone else

Right. When they do do their jobs, they are pretty objective, more than say your tenure review committee :) For instance, patents have no value, unless they are highly prized. But the fresh PhD syndrome indicates that more often than not, CIS does fall for fluff and packaging. And attorneys are...

Eb2 cover letter - seeking help

Nowhere! ROTFL. Postdoc is a vulgarism in the CIS lexicon. Well known university doesnt mean National interest. Nor does a well known mentor. However, you must use these factors subtly, wherever possible, avoiding open allusion to them. Get a great letter from this mentor about how you are...

    EB1 140 approval revoked!

what's the point? he isn't giving enough detail to guess where his pitfall might be. could be niw which is retrogressed for indians and since no reason not to concurrently file.

EB-1 EA approved TSC non pp

Could you also post some of the credentials of these "better qualified" denials? Are these recent? It will help us in getting a better idea of this murky world of EA/OPRs :)

EB-1 EA approved TSC non pp

Yeah dude, it is quite shambolic! In those analyses, the AAO seems to be acting exactly like attorneys tell us..."literally interpreting the rules" but... so many people on this forum, and elsewhere, routinely get approved. It isnt TSC, I think; they are just totally inconsistent and so, unfair...

EB-1 EA approved TSC non pp

That raises a hmmm. The wonder I believe is more with USCIS and their undue process.. check out post 13 on this thread.

    EB1 140 approval revoked!

When did you file, what category and what did you file; what nationality, when were you approved, do you have your 485 done? Without specifics, only one thought comes to mind: consider the RFE as if you were applying afresh; elaborate on every piece of evidence you filed and adding others...

EA versus OR versus everyone else

Anyone have comments on the issues I raised yesterday with the credentials of the recent approval, which according to AAO denial histories, shouldnt have passed? Also chatterjee1: Is the revocation of 485s you refer to, claimed due to485 being approved despite pending name checks, or is AILF...

EA versus OR versus everyone else

lol.. good question. more than the no-gambling angle, I am just too old in the head for Vegas... Italy, Greece, Egypt and Macchu Picchu are more my cup of tea :) Come to think of it, I have never really traveled for pleasure in the US bar Niagara once... just considered my time in this country...

EA versus OR versus everyone else

7.5 months holds only if you filed concurrently, non PP, didnt have RFE bottlenecks etc. Times vary greatly. A 485 approval in 45 days to an approved 140, is good time, but not unique.

EA versus OR versus everyone else

Pana and Chatterjee: I agree with Pana that it is a bit like Vegas. Ne'er been there, nor want to :); but I get the idea. I am outraged because really good attorneys said a) OPR was a long shot for me b) EA even tougher; but from this forum and others, I actually gather that I had an...

    EB1b REF help!!

6000 bucks for such shoddy work is daylight robbery. Drop the word going to the "disciplinary board" or a malpractice suit with him. Should light a fire under his tuchas. Cant get around the fact that your group is being alluded to, as the senior researcher's group. You could mention all...

    I-140 EB1-OR RFE --- Help Plz!

First of all, take heart from the fact that your case notwithstanding, lots and lots of people have gotten OPR EB1 approved, while being on grant-funded positions. Many universities these days have full professors, who HAVE to fund themselves, even after 20-30 years. In return of course, they...

    EB1b REF help!!

Good point. Also give a layman's presentation of what your work means to the common man, and how the man in the street in moscow, cairo and oslo, needs it/is already using it. Cover letter is everything. remember- you got only 20-30 minutes of a USCIS evaluator's time. That when they arent...
