I checked the AVM... ...and it was updated to reflect the fact that a reissued RFE was sent out ("On June 5th..." instead of "on March 30th"). Also, my reissued RFE was sent with the different expiry date (August instead of June 22nd).

FINALLY got my RFE! The AVM said one was mailed on Mar 30, but no one (neither me nor my lawyer) had gotten it. It finally came on Friday, Jun 14. It was for proof of employment & 2 yrs tax returns. Hopefully it\'ll get answered soon & decided upon quickly!

Employment letter, and other stuff Don\'t quote me on it, but I think the employment letter is a REQUIRED part of the I-485; paystubs and W-2s are NOT. You folks may want to check with your lawyers on this. I haven\'t seen my RFE yet, but chances are (we can only hope!) it\'s about a birth...

A different AVM Message... I just checked the AVM, and my I-485 status says "your fingerprints have come back, and processing on the case can resume". I guess this means all background checks have cleared; hopefully it\'s been assigned to an officer, and I\'m looking at a short time...

EAD Approved!!!! Just checked the AVM, and my EAD was approved! Haven\'t gotten the card yet, though... RD: 05/18 ND: 07/23 EAD approved date: 12/09 I hope to receive it soon... after that, hopefully, next step, I-485!!!
