VSC seems to be totally arbitary in their approvals. It almost seems like there is no accountability. They seem to just pick files from the waiting bin. If some of the april ones are out of reach they pick up Jun ones.

Were yr 140s approved for CP or did you get an RFE?  

I think that is BS My RD is 14th Sep and I did my FP in Boston on 1/10. If you are in western Mass it might be different. I suggest you call again in a week and tell them the people have got their FP 2 months ago

Err on the side of caution and send the higher fee. It is not worth risking possible delays  

Not a good idea to postpone as it will delay the process But if they cannot make it inform the INS soon because no info could lead the INS to abandon the application
