We got our interview notice in 3 months after the transfer.

We had our interview on Nov 4th @ 2:30 with our attorney. The officer was nice and after few standard questions approved our I485. Mine (primary) was directly approved by NSC and dependent was transferred to Chicago in July. Fortunately we did not have any background issues. Goodluck to all.

Do we need to carry employment letter for dependent interview? I (Primary) have been approved directly by NSC. I gather we don't need to carry medical and I 864, right? Thanks, chi_lin

My employment based GC recently got approved and I'm thinking about starting my own business. 1. Will CIS ask for any employment documents when I fill for naturalization after 5 years? Basically is employment GC the same as a family based GC? Thanks.

Same boat Dependent case transferred to local Chicago office. Primary case was approved last week ...just found out dependent case transferred. I guess the reason for transfer is we got married 3 months before applying for I485. Lets all hope for speedy approvals!!

No, the LIN# on the EAD is the receipt number for EAD. I485 receipt number is different and you should be able to get it from your lawyer provided your company does not have any issues with that.

No Update Did the 2nd FP on May 13 and status changed on USCIS website on May25 saying we received second FP. Never received any email even though email feature was turned on. It seems like there maybe some issues with their system.

Zhennl, Our RD is 9/21/02 for I485 Why is USCIS updating the online message for everyone on May 25? Seems like a mass update to me. chi_lin

FP status Update We did our second FP on May 13 and our online status updated today (5/26) saying "We received your fingerprint on May 25th and processing has resumed...". Does this mean we are getting closer to AD... just wondering! Chi_lin

I have read couple of threads in the AC21 category with employment letter format. You may find some useful information there. Did you do second fingerprint or just one? chi_lin

No change online status Parshu, I got the Notice at my home address. I think your attorney should also receive a copy of the same notice. Online status has not changed. Infact, it is the same since day 1.
