FBI - Name check cleared !

(To isGCtheKey? --have you had the second FP done? if not, why would they say "everthing is a go?") I also hope someone can clarify whether the name/security check need to be done for more than once. And whether it expires in 1 (or 3?) month. I vaguely recall to have read it somewhere that...

    Is applying GC a crime?

i think it's because when you come back, you'd be considered to have the intent to immigrate. So unless you have H or some other types of visa, you won't be admitted. And you need this wonderful creation of "advanced parole". The current situation with AP (and AOS, etc) really sucks. If...

    I-EAD Denied

I was at the philly office a couple of weeks ago for iEAD. They took the picture for me; they didn't ask for any additional fee or the I140 approval. All they needed was my 765 reciept and passport. I was even given a massage--well, if rubbing soap into my finger could be counted as one:) I...

Does using AP delay i-485 processing

---On the advance parole, it writes "Notice to the applicant: Presentation of this authorization will permit you to RESUMEyour application for AOS upon your return to the US". Does it mean that AOS is practically stopped while you're away with AP, and will only resume when you're back?

Simultaneous filing for I140 and I485

I also thought it would take months. But 15 days after I sent the I765 along with the I485,etc, my wife received her Employment Authorization card from the Vermont center. The reciept notice says that it takes about 80 days to process similar cases. I suppose it might take longer.

Filing I485 while traveling abroad with H1

Now here is the situation: I have filed I140/485 concurrently (in Vermont) and will be doing research in England for about a year. My H1 status will be maintained and, in fact, I will be paid in the US. I will be traveling back and forth frequently. The questions are: 1) Do I need...
