+1 (484) 270-1596 DOL Status line
+1- (484) -270-1500 Reception
yes It doesn't hurt to have some $$ in hand to take some kind of action. Nothing moves with out $$, even if one of us needs to visit attorney, or law makers or our destination office in Philly we need some funds. Please go ahead and collect the sensus in the separate thread. If we pool good...

It looks like all the cases received in Philly regional office before Dec. 2003, got retained in the regional office. One of my colleagues informed that, all the cases that are shown in the flc data archive are actually opened cases by Philly regional office...

Pineapple,
You are correct in positve measurement direction, but unfortunately the labor dept takes two measuremtns, # of job increases and number of people registed under job loss or for unemployment benifit. The current gov is cautious about the other numbers. Once GCs are approved some...
hang in there
How about sending a copy of our letters to Mr. and Mrs. Clintons. 245(i) is Clinton's policy which screwed up our lives.
Also I am hearing another theory, that the current government do not want any new GC approvals which are employment based. The reason is, once GC is...
keep sending e-mails and letters
I posted two letters last week, looks like most of the people are less interested in following up or escalating the issues. We are all paying taxes (and legal residents as per the taxation). People know about our problem only when we speek, just counting days or...

Re: delays and irregularities in Philli DOL processing
Hi All,
Here is the representation to Philli DOL.
Thanks to Rajiv and Suman, they are kind enough to spare some time and helped me in getting this letter a shape.
Please take a copy, sign and mail it to the address provided on...
Yes, sending letters, e-mails and faxes really worked to speed up state level processing and I think we have to do this again now …
The irregularities in application processing and pending application for years clearly indicate chaos in DOL application processing. DOL is experimenting with...
irregularities in Philli DOL processing
FYI
I contacted Rajiv and asked his help in escalating about the irregularities in Philli DOL processing. Below is copy of my communication. Please contact Rajiv and express your concern or support to this issue.
Also I think it is a good idea if...
Is Philli DOL supposed to process applications in firstcome first serve basis ? I chekcd AVM with Random case numbers, and they have approved several cases with same DOT code as mine and all those cases were received in 2004. Any Idea why this is happening ?
so we need a manual to use AVM!! Is there a way to notify this problem to Philli DOL ? ( I am afraid, DOL may ask for more funding and resources to upadate AVM), looks like they out sourced this AVM to some place where the numbering system is not decimal. (just imagine life with automated PERM...
My company or lawyer has not received any info from SESA yet. Most of the times SESA is not sending information about applications moving to Reginal office.
I checked the Philly Regional office status line (215-861-5286
and option 1,2 to check status using employer's phone number), and I...

What is region IV ?
Are they processing only RIR applications (or) totally stopped processing applications and waiting for Guidelines to clear backlogs ?
This sound like "beating the dead" :(
Same status with the Philly Regional office, their Voice Mails is giving status as of May 2003 !! It also says that the status is updated weekly. Looks like they follow a different calender where a week > 5 working days !.
I am afraid that we are going to hit another road block at Philly...
