Electronic vs. paper
Someone in my company was telling me that his I-140 was filed electronically? I know there is a paper option to file it.
Does this dis-order of application processing sequence have any link to that? I am thinking e-filed applications might get processed faster for...
Message and LUD
Actually I received that message on 04/05/06 through email...
And also I just checked and my LUD changed to o4/08/06 - its like changing nearly everyday :S
Substitution?
Hernesto, we all share your pain - just buckle up. Things will change soon.
Was the I-140 applied based on your own LC approval? If yes, then definitely there are missing documentation and/or not updated latest financial sheets from your company. Your lawyer will be able to...
I got the same message.
From this we can assume that the transfer date of 03/22/06 is when CSC sent the case. And the message below on 03/29/06 is when TSC actually received and recorded the case at their center.

PD transfer
sfmars so you are saying that if you have I-140 approved from Company A, then with Company B when you file you maintain your PD?
I guess after I-140 approval you would file for I-485 with Company A. If you switch jobs to company B then your I-140 from Company A gets lost - you...
Hard copy received :)
My lawyer called to inform me that she got the hard copies of the approval forms in the mail today.
So the system is moving, and good luck to all. I am sure all of the long waiting will bear rewards soon....
Friend received mail in hard copy
One of the people I know got his hard copy of certified labor today. His priority date was 02/06/03 and the letter was dated 08/04/05 - EB3/RIR
Paperwork requirement and filing question
Two questions:
1) For the I-485, the documents that are required would be for myself and my spouse... am I correct (e.g. birth certificate, medical and the alike) - since both people are getting their status adjusted.
2) Also is it for sure that...
Case Screenshot says certified
The case screenshot I received today shows my case in the 'certified' status. Seems that DBEC is moving as expected (I had estimated Aug/Sep as certifying date). Will update once I get the hard copy.
Regards.
Basic answers
Nearly everyone here is applying LC on basis of H1-B.
45 day letter tells you: 1) Your case has been received by Dallas or Philly BEC 2) your data entry has been completed in the electronic system and is ready in queue for analysis/approval 3) also indicates that your...
Some information you need to check
Desi786,
You filed your case in February, 2003 and that is your priority date = PD. My priority date is also Feb 2003 from California. Which city did you file your case?
You need to find these things from your lawyer:
What is your employment based...
3 months...
We waited for so long. Now the system starts working - people are getting approvals. It might not be perfect - but its a start. Much better than 6 months ago when everyone was stuck.
I am sure they will come around to everyone - we can wait another 3 months after all this time...
You should get it soon
LCSoon, I can relate to your worry. However, one of my friends who has a PD of 10/2002 got his 45 day letter in early May, as compared to me where my PD was 02/03 and I got my letter 02/05.
I would say there is alot of irregularity and you should play out the next 2-3...
