concur with FutureGen1.
You can check the status of any appln. Since you already have EAD & AP, you would now be more interested in tracking the EAC# of the 485 appln. And yeah better call after office hours if you just want to hear the AVM.
good query!
nice one that.
I'm one of the 'lucky' ones with an approved GC and where did my patience go? It's all inside - like the JCPenny ad, stored for future use. :)
thks guys!
Thanks Guys! I will keep you all updated with the progress. Strange thing I heard the approval on AVM on Aug 2 and my lawyer is in Maryland - it took a good one week for the approval notice to reach him... Efficiency of INS or postal system?
Thks!

The reason I say validity of H1 is because if one is working on EAD and the H1 is no longer valid or quite close to its expiration date and no extn was applied, then...
both will be taken
I had a similar case.
An old I-94 and a new one which came along with the H1 extn. As advised in the form, I attached it to my passport. While leaving the US, the guy at the airline check in counter asked me if I got an H1-B extn, to which I repiled yes and he happily (I...
