Hey Rajesh Ven I called up the INS AVM last night and checked my wife and my case. The AVM says "Your finger print were rcvd on.... and are pending review" for both our cases. Could you throw some light on what this means? Thanks

Thanks... another question... Thanks for all your feedback. I had another question: can I call up the FBI directly and find out if they received my FP from the INS support Center? If yes, then could you please give me the number. ALso, how soon can I call them? I had my finger printing done...

I went for my finger printing yesterday and they were unable to take my right thumb print because of a skin allergy. Could you please tell me what\'s going to happen. Will I get an RFE to go for FP again?

Can anyone tell me, what documnents are required to be taken when you go for finger printing? My passport has been renewed since I filed my I-485. Will there be a problem since at finger printing time, they will use a different passport number as on my 485 application?

Spoke to IIO a few days back... not today  

Although my wife\'s FP was done on the same day ... and her AVM says "Processing resumed". I think we should not worry about this. Probably just an AVM update issue.

Anyone else in the same boat? Spoke to IIO and she said that my FP was clear.

My old passport expires on 07/21/02 ... i got it renewed in September, after applying for my 485 on 06/05/01. It\'s best to get the passport renewed before you get ur approval and go for your stamping cos\' u should get the red stamp on the new passport. Also, if the passport is not valid...

I went for my FP on 11/29 ... mine still says "..pending review..." My wife\'s AVM says "...FP received and processing has resumed...". Not sure why mine still gives old message. Checked with IIO and she was saying that FP looks ok but they still haven\'t received...

GCWait1... for me ... the IIO is saying that there is no problem. The records are clear in FBIs system. It\'s just that they haven\'t received the results yet and are waiting.

... AVM still says "collected on dec. 6th, pending review". For my wife, it says "received on Jan 10th, processing resumed". Spoke to IIO and she said that my FP was fine. Anyone else in the same boat?
