If a renewal is filed before expiration of the previous one, that should be enough isn't it ? People would expect (normally) their AOS to be decided within the valid period of the initial EAD. Also, why should there be any penalty on AOS if any ? GC is meant for future employment any way...

tt tt, If a case goes into adjudication does it mean that it will not be getting RFE ? You mentioned "it will either trigger a RFE or adjudication". Also, is this triggering event can happen only by sending fax ? How about calling BCIS once every week ? Waiting to hear. Thanks...

If a case got approved from 'Resumed', I would think it as a good sign. It may mean that, there is a possibility of getting approval without a RFE. :cool:

Does it then mean, it is not required in UK ? I went and came thru Heathrow last november and was not asked for. So, I would presume it is not required unless they have changed the law in the last few days - life_on_hold
