Hi, Sorry if this is posted already.. I am the primary applicant on H1B. I got the EAD but not planning to use. Can I apply to change my SSN so the word "Authorized to Work only"? Will this be an issue for me? I dont want to use EAD for sometime now.. Thanks in advance!

I don't think wife using EAD will invalidate your H1B.. If she is in H4, her H4 status gets invaildated. just my thoughts..

I don't see any reason not to allow interim EAD when retrogressed as long as the processing happens by priority date.

Since you spoke to the person who is doing this date setup, Can I assume he also would know all categories future like when EB3 or EB2 would move and how much? If he can tell us the date, it would help us stop guessing and make use the time elsewhere :D Thanks for the update anyways!
