Most probably in Oct 2008.
You can try calling USCIS and ask them "How many India EB2 ahead of me" ?
When it is ready for adjudication ( i.e. name check cleared ).
You can try calling USCIS and ask them "How many India EB2 ahead of me" ?
But if you ask "When will my PD be current"...
FBI has reference file
FBI generates name hits from reference file for parties the are victims, witnesses of crimes or other stuff.
Once my car was broken into and i complained to police. So, i am victim of a crime. That is why i think i am stuck in name check ( with a unique name )
Will USCIS reveal it ?
So, NC memo came. Now question for those retrogressed is how soon the queue will move . Is there a way for one to get the USCIS reveal how many are there in the queue before one's PD ? I mean i want to Know how many are there in the India EB2 queue ( until PD 2002 )...

The will do all kind of injustice and if asked about it will chant the mantra "If you don't like the way we treat you here, go home" . Yeah the most mature democrazy in the world built by former immigrants and their descendants.

When the labor subt. thing was about to eclipse, i guess there was a frantic sale of labor certs in market ( main supplies being Indian consulting companies ) . It just scares me i see lot of India EB2 with PDs 1999,2000 !
Great!
My PD was current for most of last year, but got stuck in name check. Now my category is "U" ( it is expected it will be U for another 2 years for people with my PD ).
The folks with PD 2000 still no GC ?! It must have been tough for you to stick to the same or similar job since 2000. What a bad situation . Are you stuck with same employer ?
As long as GC is pending one needs to be in 'same or similar' position. I understand one can change employers using AC21, but chaning positions which have different job responsiblities may not be possible.
There is risk of getting into 'approval letter verification' , which can get you stuck with H1B stamping for a month. If you get into 'additional security check' , you can get stuck abroad for more than 3 months. Why the hassle ?

4. If an H-1 or L-1 nonimmigrant has traveled abroad and reentered the United States via advance parole, the alien is accordingly in parole status. How does the interim rule affect that alien's employment...
There is a "CRONIN MEMO" that clarifies this(not exact text. But google for cronin memo ) . "Until the final rules are published, one can continue to work for the duration of H1B approval , even if paroled into USA".
And currently i am utilizing it. Entered this year using AP and continuing...
