phrasing things is as hard as going to an job interview so they understand. I have had no luck getting through eventhough i offered to take the legal bill and have everything ready as early as one day for them to sign and do premium processing. the best part is i didnt even ask them for GC. just...
exactly my point. their mentality is "why even bother when they dont have to"
the question is not about the law. the question is "is it worth going through with it.
I am not sure why you are asking these questions since you have already spent sometime down here in US. Since your last stay not much has changed and you will be dealing with the same dilemma as you faced before you went back to Canada. Best any of us on this website can do is to share our...
the social security may take up to 6 weeks because of cross checking your status with USCIS. as for the greencard itself, they say it could take up to 6 month but they send it within the first couple of month.
i hear you brother. yet this is another sign of immigration mismanagment they fail to mention on media. screw them. i change mine to CP while they figure out how the hell they are going to open all those envelopes they recieved during Visa Bulletin fiasco.
as some of you know, when someone is filing DV on DOS website, you will be asked about spouse's information and photograph. does this mean the spouse is automatically entered into DV program or can we do a separate filing for spouse? i tried to get the answer from KCC but no luck.
well, PERM regulation prohibits beneficiary (that would be you) to be involved in the application process. if they find out that you were involved in the PERM process, your application will be canceled. plus almost no one knows the details of PERM other than a experienced lawyer who will not...
last week USCIS made an announcement that their some of their website would be down for service and update. they did name case status site as one of the affected ones. try next week again.
fingerprinting for EAD is required but not for AP. the ones who got it before fingerprinting have most likely fallen into favorable cracks and got their EAD.
i would go ahead and file the I-140 at this point (something that i have done myself) once you get the reciept notice, at any point they open the PP you can request for PP simply by submitting the PP form (I-907) and a copy of your reciept notice for I-140. they simply transfer the file to PP...
little protocols they had is long gone. after immigration bill failed and visa bulletin became the most dangerous rollercoaster. forget premium processing i'd say. with all the EBs from all countries you should be thinking a 3 to 10 year wait time even if they work overtime adjudicating all...
past 3 years income tax returns along with their W2, a letter from their bank indicating how long they had this bank account and how much is their avarage balance (if they tell the bank they want this letter for immigration, the bankers should know what to write)
there are lots of rumors that TSC is close to melt down due to their massive amount of applications they have recieved (thanks to Visa Bulletin rollercoaster) they are transferring some of their work load to other centers. so your future and mine is in god's hands at this point. on an avarage...
you dont need a typical sample letter. all you need is to address the issue (write her A number so they dont get confused), submit a copy of her I-485 form you submitted originally, a copy of her passport and I-94 you sent at that time, and maybe copy of her driver license. send it to the...
look at the copies of the application you mailed to USCIS. as long as the error is from their end, they fix the date. if the error is from their end, call them and ask them where you need to send a correction request.
