Thank you guys so much for your help!!! Yes, we got the NOA already a few days after sending the I-130. But we were needlessly waiting for the approval, but now we are putting the whole I-485 together and if they don't approve I-130 by then, we will send the rest of the documents to Chicago...
Thanks so much for your response. Yes, I am married to a USC, and I am already in the US. We got married in January and right after we got married we filed I-130. We didn't know we could file I-485 package without waiting for the approval of I-130, but now since I have been told we could do it...
Hello Everyone!
Thank you for previous responses. I have one more question, though. Me and my husband were misinformed at the beginning, and when we called USCIS, they told us to submit I-130 first and then wait for the approval before filing other applications. And as I said now it takes...
Hi Letsien, I really have no idea why they misinform people, maybe on purpose they want us to wait longer.... Anyway, at least now we know we can send I-485 package without waiting for the approval of I-130. It gives hope for getting visa faster. Good luck!

Hello everyone!
My husband filed I-130 for me at the end of January, they received it and sent Notice of Action. And still we haven't received anything else from them, no approval. I don't know what to do. Before applying, we called the USCIS and they told us to first send I-130, wait for the...
I-130 sent first and now it takes forever...

Hi
I just read your message and it gave me a little hope. My husband filed I-130 for me on January 25, they actually received the application on Feb 1. You say that your application has already been approved, so looking at your dates it seems like our application should be approved soon, too...
Thanks for the reply, but I already checked that website and I must say it is a bit confusing, it's hard to find some of the information. Can you tell me what steps you took if you were in a similar situation?
I am going to get married to my USC fiance a week before my tourist visa expires. And it expires in 10 days. I know we need to hurry so that my status in the US is still valid. What should we do right after we get married? What types of applications should we file and where should they be filed...
