Kudos, what kind of proof regarding PCC applied? Can you please let us know. This will help a lot. I am thinking of sending e-mail to Indian consulate(Houston in my case). If they reply saying it is in process, I will print this. Is there any other way to obtain proof of PCC applied? Thanks

Got mine on 29th Jan. Applied in 1st week on Jan. Received on Jan 29th. I went personally and got it. RPO: Hyd. My Father went to RPO and asked them to Fax. They faxed it in a week.

No Title You have to say yours is a AC-140 case and the consulate itself will assign a case no for you. The case no she is talking about is the one NVC assigns. As your case is not going thru NVC and its AC-140 route, you will not have any case no until consulate assigns one. Good luck.

This is good news MMP. I got the same kind of response from NVC today. I have a doubt, are they going to send this new memo via Wash D.C, Diplomatic pouch route or direct to Chennai. If any one asked this or have a response please post.
