they are usually polite and ask questions why do you fear , who do you fear, why would you be targeted , any threats in past, and then whatever comes out of conversation depending how it goes

if you got citizenship based on asylum and now getting marraige in cop, would they ask my wife how i got citizenship? if they ask what if she says she doesnt know .....anyone who got married in cop can reply.....i am so scared

Problems are so many.... i am converted christian from muslim... cant marry a muslim girl in pakistan legally unless I pretend to be a muslim which no one there knows i left islam...so that way we can marry and make marraige licence but then US consulate will question how we got married i am...

if you got citizenship based on asylum and get married in cop and want to bring her with i130 or want to bring your fiance in k1 visa before marriage, are they going to question her how i got my citizenship and details of that?

ok...i think website managers wont like this....but i got so much help from this site and i want to help few who are now looking for answers...this website is still very active on asylum forums and others etc but not for n-400....i found a site very active for n-400 k1 visas etc with monthly...

i see how every one was helping leader and how calm and respectful was he when he was needing info...now won the case and started using abusive language, acting like radical islamists....just answer calmly to someone or dont answer at all....you still may need help in future

I left islam... which is puinishable by death in islam and i am from a hardcore muslim country and i was getting threats here in usa from pakistan... i had all the proofs... and i had 100s of documents supporting my case.... letters from top us professors that i should be granted asylum etc

As far as my case is concerned I applied for asylum in 2012 in December and I got my fingerprinting done in two weeks and I in next two or three weeks I got my interview done and I was told at the interview that my case would be most probably be approved and I got my asylum approval letter in...

thanks djh... i am sure lots of people are applying and i hope we will get some good responce here... this forum was extremely helpful when I applied for asylum and greencard... I applied 4 days ago... checking my bank account after every hour lol if check has been cashed...and waiting to hear...

i sent my papers n400 to uscis that reached there 3 days ago... I understand it may be too early to get reciept notice, and my check hasnt been cashed yet either...but the main purpose of this thread is to just communicate with each other and see time lines and how it is been going for you all...
