485 pending, H1 hits 6yr soon, need H1 extend?
No Title Please check, there are messages about extending H1 after 6 years. In my case EAD was applied 2 months prior to 6year H1 expiry. EAD usually takes 30 - 60 days at that time.- Joy Pal

H1 to F1?
No Title Has your wife included you on her I140? If she has not reached that stage you can change to F1. But once you file I140 you are intention is to immigrate to US.
