Hi guys I just called USCIS to discuss my pending case (I485) using the POJ method and the officer told me that this no longer connects to someone who can give out applicant information and that the system is rerouted. Does anyone know any other method to get through?

The 02/08 update has pushed the processing date for I485 back to April 2007 from May. At the same time NSC has moved forward to July. WHen I called about my I485 in the EB1 category (filed 10/19/07) I was told that I was outside the processing range. I wonder whether TSC is being overwhelmed...

I think that despite what others have said you have a very good- excellent chance of an EB1 given the clinical background. That's as important as publications. Choose a good attorney

The VAs may have a policy of not supporting Green cards but it is fairly easy to get an EB1 or NIW petition approved for work at the VA as it is very easily justified as national interest and any work for wounded veterans will be very helpful in the EB1 application (though not explicitly stated)
