From what I have heard, the regular oath ceremonies are held at heritage Theater in campbell. But USCIS also does oath thing at their office in San Jose. Mine was done at the San Jose USCIS office where you go for the interview. Good luck.

It is not ill-legal to make copies of the naturalization cert. I am filing I-130 for my wife and USCIS wants me to send a copy of the cert. They won't be asking me if it was ill-legal.

My whole process at San Jose took 5 1/2 months. Last yr I remember, it was taking more than 1 yr just to get interview so I think things are improving.
