Can I go back to previous employer on the old H1B ?

I worked for company A & then switched jobs - transferring my H1B - to join company B. After working for company B, I decide to go back to company A. Can I join company A on the old H1B visa as its date of expiration is still more than 1 year away from now?
I am aware of the fact that company A never revoked my H1B when I quit them to join company B in the past.

Is there any law that says that current H1B supercedes previous H1B making the previous H1B invalid?

Also, Is there any law that can point finger at company A for not informing the USCIS/INS when I left them to join company B?

Any clarification on this issue would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Should not be a problem. You can multiple H1-Bs active at any given time such that the no of hrs should not be greater than 40.

It will be problem. To go back to old company A, company A must sponser you again. As per record company B is your sponser and you have already collected pay stub fro m company B.
Multiple H1B is allowed only if the weekly hours are more than 40 hours. Even for that you have to get approval of new H1 with "concurrent" conditions

h1b transfer issue very urjent

You can only go back if you are not worked for B and not received any pay check.

Hi,

Please answer to these questions it's very important to me

1.I worked for company A and recently filed h1b transfer to company B and started working with company B. I have recept number with me and it's still pending. now i got new offer with company C and they want to do h1b transfer. I have only recept number(still pending) and pay stubs from company B. Is it possible to do h1B transfer to company C??

2.if h1b with company B denied then am i eligible to work with company A(assume company A not cancelled h1b)??

3.If h1b with company B denied and company A cancelled h1b then do i eligible to file h1b transfer to company C ( if i have pay stubs from company B)??
