Waiting Asylum decision

I had my interview at Newark as well on June 30 and is showed decision pending since then. On August 1st, it updated to you completed your interview and it updated application is pending on the same day.

It's not guarantee, but I think most people that wait for prolonged time received an approval.

i agree with f4n1us. the more you wait the higher chances for you to get approved. i am talking about the Newark Office. idk the others.

congrats. i guess i am, now, convinced that if the old filers' decisions take longer than 2.5 months, it's almost an approval.

I did not sue too and I haven’t asked too I don’t know if I should wait a little more cos it will be 3months by nextweek since I finished interview what do u advice

Congratulations am happy for you I love to see old filers happy cos we all have been through a lot
 
I could not reach the Arlington office on the phone so I chatted customer service as advices here this is what the guy sent me so I wanted to know if others got the same response when the enquire too.

I was told go back to pick up decision after two weeks but 1 day before the pick up day AO called me said result is not ready. the result will be shipped to my address once ready. I know the feeling when you are waiting the result, it's hard! I googled a lots of threads.

If results cannot be obtained within two weeks, most people will need to wait 2 to 8 months. It depends on each case and cannot be predicted precisely.

only one person in this thread waited 1 year then file FOIA. The FOIA shows AO Made decision after about two weeks but no one to shipped it out. This situation is very rare.

in the end, I do not think email or call can expedite to get the result.

I have been waiting for 7 months and 10 days for my asylum decision I already made two inquiries the most recent one just last week but I still haven’t received any update from the Chicago asylum office The long wait is very difficult and I am wondering if others are facing the same delays
 
Same here. Had interview in Jan 2025 with Chicago asylum office but no decision yet

We are really in the same situation I also had my interview in January and still no decision Did you make any inquiry or ask your attorney about it ? Do you have any information?

I asked my attorney and he advised to just wait. With the current immigration climate, I will just wait and not push anything
