I found out about Lawfully recently but timeline look like this:

-January 2016 Submitted Asylum Application
- 04/05/25 Interview Scheduled
- 05/21/25 Interview Completed
- 05/22/25 Decision is Pending

You need to call them first thing in the morning

Mine was 5/30/25 still decision pending Arlington office which office did you have yours too

I got my approval from the Newark office on the 99th day. They take their time. Either for background checks or supervisor check. Just be patient friends

If you are lucky you might find a rep who will see internal notes and contact the asylum officer

My friend got decision from the same office Newark(MN Branch) in 4 months.
So your wait is still within limits (refer to Lordridley experience as well, I believe he got approved in Newark as well).
Nothing to worry about.
I would advise to send some requests online. Even if you get generic response, it won't hurt.
Maybe someone actually sees all our requests.

Did you call them or enquire during your waiting time ?

I did inquire thru uscis portal but no one was assigned. Still not assigned lol

just submit a request on the website. the more you wait, the higher chances you get an approval. because they can deny your application faster than approving it. best of luck.

Please help me check the attached status was your status same as mine cos mine has not changed to completed interview but still at interview scheduled.

Completed interview will appear on the day they reach decision.
Doesn't make sense but this is how it was for most of us.

Yes, they did approve my application.
It's not guarantee, but I think most people that wait for prolonged time received an approval.
You can read through this thread to see timelines of other people. You can even find cases from the same office that processed your case.

Completed interview will appear on the day they reach decision.
Doesn't make sense but this is how it was for most of us.

It says “you completed the interview” on my page since I completed 2nd interview. Since then it changed to decision pending, application pending and back to decision pending again. I dont think this pattern means anything but these are the updates on my case. Los Angeles office
